- Mina Breaux Walsh Allen lived in Evanston from 1938 to 1969 until she moved to Winnetka when she married Howard Allen. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Karin Walsh, former city editor of the Chicago Sun Times. She is survived by her husband, Howard Allen, three children; Sheila Walsh Richard of Wilmette; Karin Breaux Walsh of Highland Park and E. Locke "Buzz" Walsh of Lake Forest; three step-children and six grandchildren. Mrs. Allen also is survived by a sister Nina McGrouther of San Francisco.
