- Robert Wellington Allen died at the age of 68 on April 28, 1993, in Naples, Italy. He is survived by his wife, Mary, nee Crowell; children Robert W. Jr. of Norwalk Conn., Rebecca Allen Mixter of Weston, Mass.; Mark C. of New York City, and Amy K. Allen Drake of Succasunna, N.J.; his grandchildren, Katherine Allen and Andrew Wellington Mixter of Weston; his brother John W. of Northfield, and sister Laura Allen McCoy of Alexandria, Va. Interment willl be at Atwill Memorial Chapel this summer.
