- Ethel H. Gately of Wilmette died Friday at Evanston Hospital. She was 86. Survivors include two sons, John and Michael, both of Winnetka, and eight grandchildren. Mass was offered Monday at Saints Faith, Hope and Charity Catholic Church in Winnetka. Burial was at St. Boniface Cemetery in Chicago.
