- Anton M. Engels, 75, died January 5 at Rush North Shore Medical Center. Mr. Engels was born at 2403 Old Glenview Road, which was then in the village Gross Point and is now in Wilmette. He lived at that address his entire life. He is survived by his wife, Stella Koller Engels; and four children, Tom (Lynn) of Chicago, Mary (Richard) Meneghello of Wilmette, Jo Anne (Nick) Peters of Glenview, and Susan (Mike) Pinkowski of Deerfield; nine grandchildren; and his sister, Gladys (Ed) May of Oceanside, California.
