- Violet Bradley Selfridge of Winnetka died April 23 at the Hospice Center in Winnetka. She was 99. Mrs. Selfridge was born in Atwater, N.Y. on March 30, 1897, the daughter of Walter C. and Anna Luella Bradley. Mrs. Selfridge was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Calvin F. Selfridge, who died in 1978. Survivors include two daughters, Anna (Robert) Steinhoff and Ellen (John) McKeown; a son, Calvin Selfridge; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
