- John Franklin Arnold of Glenview died Dec. 10 at his home. Two wives, Jean Duncan Arnold, and Dorothy Hecht Bruce Arnold, preceded him in death. He is survived by two daughters, Susan Arnold-Baler of Barrington, and Dolly Ann Bullen; and a son, J.D. Arnold. He was the stepfather of Miles W. Bruce of Colorado and Judy Ann Hamilton of Michigan; and the grandfather of six. Services were held at Sauganash Community Church, 4541 Peterson Ave., Chicago, with the Rev. Raymond Nyquist officiating.
