- Genevieve "Jean" Bernau (Mullen) died May 1 at Evanston Hospital. Mrs. Bernau was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is survived by her husband, Edwin J.; a daughter, Mary Jo Howard of Chicago; a son, Edwin J. Jr. (Anne); and grandchildren, Gregory and Elizabeth Howard; and Kelly Ann, Edwin J. III and Anne Bernau. Burial was at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
