- Eleanor J. (née Phillips) Bohnen, 87, of Wilmette, died June 5, 2001. Born December 10, 1913 in Wilmette. Survivors include her son, Robert (Diane) A. Bohnen of Kenosha; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim (Eleanor) Phillips of Northbrook; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Peter C. Bohnen, whom she married September 12, 1936; her parents, John and Elvira Larson Phillips; two brothers, Bill and Edward Phillips; and two sisters, Ann Schuetz and Betty Hartley
