- Peter C. Bohnen, 79, a lifelong resident of Wilmette, died at Evanston Hospital on Dec. 13. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Phillips Bohnen of Wilmette; a son, Robert of Kenosha, Wis.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchilddren. Also surviving are his siblings, Louis Kirscht of Glenview, Mary Hoffman of Wilmette, Joseph Bohnen of Ogden, Utah, and Howard Bohnen of Glenview. There was a funeral Mass Dec. 15 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wilmette.
