- Former Illinois legislator William F. Gibbs of Northbrook died Nov. 27 [1987] at Glenbrook Hospital. He was 94. He was born June 15, 1893 on a farm near Bluff Hall in Adams County, Ill., the son of French W. and Elizabeth Gibbs. He was married to the late Margaret D. Randall for more than 50 years. Mr. Gibbs is survived by his son, Harold W. Gibbs of Wilmette; a daughter, Dorothy Gochicoa of Aiken, S.C.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Interment will be at the Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy, Illinois.
