- Jordan Scott, is head instructor and director of the Traditional Karate Center in Wilmette. Comments by Ronda Korzon, program coordinator and instructor. Her entire family, two sons daughter and husband, is also involved in the martial arts. Lindsay Gorman of Winnekta took a similar path when her son, Alex, began more than five years ago. Joe Frumpkin of Wilmette, 13, said he started at age six. Anna Berkson of Skokie, 6, is one of the youngest current students.
