Mrs. Lawrence King, formerly Dora Steffens, of Wilmette, died at her home in Gypson City, Kansas, Sunday morning, May 18. Burial was at St. Joseph's from St. Joseph's church, Thursday.
The remains were brought to Evanston Wednesday morning and were taken to the home of her sister, Mrs. Roy Changelon, to await burial.
Mrs. King was well known in Wilmette. She was the daughter of Gerhardt Steffens, now a resident of Evanston. She is survived by her husband, her father and the following brothers and sisters: John M. Steffens of Wilmette, Samual J. Steffens of Winnetka, Mrs. William Lang and Miss Clara Steffens of Chicago, Mrs. Roy Parks, Mrs. Louis Changelon and Joseph C. Steffens of Evanston.- Featured Link
