- Evanston gave the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permission to begin a study on the possibility of a marina in the city. Results of the study are expected in May. Sabine Herber, director of the Wilmette Harbor Association, commented favorably on the idea. Space in Wilmette Harbor is very limited and has a long waiting list.
