Funeral services for Jacob Weinz of Gross Point, who died on April 6, were held Friday, April 8, from St. Joseph's church and burial was at Niles Center in St. Peter's cemetery.
Mr. Weinz is survived by three daughters and one son, all of Gross Point. They are Mrs. Emma Hens, Mrs. Susan Thalmann, Mrs. Barbara Hens, and Peter Weinz.
Mr. Weinz had made his home in Gross Point for the past twenty years with his daughter, Mrs. Emma Hens. He was born in Germany in 1843, and came to this country in 1870, when he was 27 years old. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters of Niles Center.- Featured Link
