Mrs. Ellen F. Cox is taken by death Friday

News of the death of Mrs. Ellen F. Cox, widow of Albert W. Cox, who formerly owned the Cox building at Wilmette and central avenues, was received from San Benito, Tex., this week. Mrs. Cox, who had lived in Wilmette for many years lived passed away Friday, August 5, after an illness of five weeks.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 7, the Rev. T. N. Barton, pastor of the first Methodist church of San Benito, officiating. Burial was in Buena Vista Cemetery at Brownsville, Tex, beside the grave of her husband who passed away two years ago.
Mrs. Cox is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lueva Test, with whom she had made her home, and Mrs. Mary Cox Allen of Los Angeles.
Mr. and Mrs. Cox left Wilmette nine years ago to make their home in the South.- Featured Link
