John H. Durham dies at Kenilworth home

John H. Durham, father of Howard Durham, 431 Abbottsford road, passed away at the home of his son last Monday at the age of 83 years. Funeral services were held from the residence on Tuesday with Rev. H. L. Willett presiding. Burial was at Memorial Park cemetery.

Mr. Durham had resided in Kenilworth for about ten years, having come here from New York City in 1918. He was born in Madison, Ind., on September 2, 1844 and resided with his parents, who had come to Indiana as pioneers, until about 30 years of age. In 1874 he came to Chicago where he maintained his home until 1915 when he removed to New York City. Mr. Howard Durham is th only surviver [sic] of the immediate family.
