Andrew Lynn, pioneer resident, dies Tuesday

Andrew Lynn, father of Harry Lynn, proprietor of the Kenilworth Grocery store, passed away at the home of his son with whom he has been residing, last Tuesday at the advanced age of 89 years. Funeral services were conducted from the residence, 635 Pleasant avenue, Kenilworth, on Thursday, Rev. Herman W. Meyer of St. John's Lutheran church of Wilmette, presiding. Burial was at the County Line cemetery near Braeside.
Mr. Lynn came originally from Sweden. He had lived on the north shore for more than 55 years, and for several years had resided in Hubbard Woods. He came to Chicago sometime previous to the Chicago Fire and was working in the city at the time of the great conflagration. He is survived only by the one son, eight other children having preceded him in death.- Featured Link
