Henry Jackson Burt, of 416 Ellis avenue, Wheaton, and a former resident of Wilmette for a number of years, died suddenly at his Wheaton home last Saturday, July 28. He was 55 years old.
Mr. Burt was a leader in structural engineering in Chicago and was associated with Holabird and Root, architects. He was an officer and member of various engineering societies, and during the World war served as a major in the construction division of the army.
Funeral services were held at the family residence in Wheaton at 2:30 o'clock last Monday afternoon. Burial was also made at Wheaton.
Mr. Burt is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edith Burt, and five children, Henry Jackson, Jr., Jesse, Morris, Luella, and Helen.- Featured Link
