Student newspaper, "The Prep," earned award from Northern Illinois School Press Associatiotn. Emmet Sullivan of Winnetka earned award for journalism. English instructor, Frances B. Gombac, is moderator for the paper; Science instructor Mark Lawson presented lecture to Loyola's Astronomy Club and Design instructor James E. Cleland comments; Scholastic Bowl hosted Community Quiz Bowl for Adults. Money collected donated to winning team's charity of choice. Adult team included librarian Amy A.
