- Elizabeth O’Brien Stuart, 92, a resident of Wilmette, died June 6 in Hospice of the North Shore. Mrs. Stuart was born in Granville, N.Y, daughter of John Lawrence O’Brien and Mary Elizabeth Green. Survivors include her daughter, Georgianna (Jay) Kleiman; four grandchildren, Michael Edwards of California, Maureen Hanson of St Louis, Mo., Brian Edwards of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Terence Edwards of Chicago; two step-grandchildren, Irit Kleiman of Cambridge, Mass., and Daniel Kleiman of New York City five great-grandchildren, Madison and Quinn Edwards, Taylor and Erik Hanson, and Ogden Edwards; two brothers, John O’Brien and Tom O’Brien; and two sisters, Virginia Starr and Rita Feigel. A funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Granville, N.Y and interment will be in the family plot where she will be laid to rest with 26 other family members. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church in Wilmette at a later date.
