Joseph C. Wilson, leader in Masonic circles, dies

Joseph C. Wilson, 55, of 917 Sixteenth street, Wilmette, died of pneumonia Friday, March 8, at his home after a week’s illness. Mr. Wilson, who was in the insurance business in Chicago, was a charter member of the Wilmette Masonic lodge and had held various important offices in that organization. He was also a member of the Modern Woodmen of America and the Odd Fellows lodge.

Surviving him, are his widow, Mrs. Myrtle J. Wilson, one son, Robert A. Wilson, and one daughter, Mrs. Laura J. Hill, all of Wilmette.

Masonic services were held in the auditorium of the Wilmette Masonic temple Monday afternoon, March 11, at 2 o’clock. Burial took place at Memorial Park cemetery
