Notes: Gary Ivan Carter, 62, of Evanston, died July 1 at Hospice of the North Shore in Skokie. Born Oct. 28, 1941, in Chicago Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his father, Harold Carter. Survivors include his wife, Sandra (nee Miller); daughters Elizabeth (Eric) Dworkin of Briar Cliff Manor, N.Y., Deborah Carter of Chicago and Kimberly Carter of Evanston; two grandchildren; his mother, Irene Carter of Evanston; and sister Joan Rosen of Nebraska. Funeral services were held July 6 at Weinstein Family Services in Wilmette.
