- Born Aug. 18, 1909, in LaGrange, Mrs. Mary Olwen (nee Merrio) Buford died June 24 at the Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights. Mrs. Buford is survived by her daughters, Mary Lou (Richard) Weddle of Helena, Mont., and Peggy Crawford of Barrington; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Becker and Robert Buford; two sisters; and one brother.
