- Nancy V. Griftner, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Deerfield, died March 7.
She was born in Ft. Smith, Ark. in 1920 and married Howard D. Griftner of Champaign, Ill., in 1947.
She is survived by her three children, Christine Griftner of Irvine, Calif. and Jim and Bill Griftner, both of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren, William, Gene and Rebecca Griftner.
