- Gold Medal Cleaners had added new machinery to their drycleaning plant. The cleaner now uses a clear solvent rather than perchlorethelene. The business, begun 78 years ago by Polish immigrant Max Fishman, is now run by his son Herb, grandson Jeff and cousin Stuart Friedman. Tailor, Al Donenberg, handles clothing repairs.
