- A bill that would have granted the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago the authority to manage and finance activities related to stormwater management was recently vetoed by the governor. The bills sponsor, Sen. Susan Garrett, vowed to do everything she could to overturn the veto.
