- Mrs. Gertrude Thurston died Wednesday, June 8, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Helen Monahan, in Evanston. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Monahan, Mrs. Jack Anderson of Evanston, and Mrs. Isabel Beverly of Elgin.
