- Kathryn "Kay" D. Phillips, nee Dean, age 91, a Winnetka resident for 38 years, died suddenly Oct. 15 of heart failure at Evanston Hospital.
Mrs. Phillips was born on July 11, 1913, in Fair Oaks, Ind., the oldest of seven children.
Survivors include sons, Dean (Pam) Phillips of Austin, Texas, Dennis (Brigitte) Phillips of Frankfurt, Germany and Tom (Cindy) Phillips of Arlington Heights; grandchildren, Blake, Will, Audrey and Alex; her brother, Robert (Doris) of Arvada Colo.; sisters, Dorothy "Dot" (Ambrose) Bain of Monticello Ind., Lorna (Bud) Keevil of LaGrange; a sister-in-law, Yvonne (Bill) Dean of Veigy France; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased her husband, Donald "Don" N. Phillips; and her brothers Dick, Keith and Bill.
