- Mrs. Josephine Lynam Smith died Dec. 21, 1973 in Sunnyvale, Cal. Her husband, Arthur W. Smith, preceded her in death, as did two sons, Lynam and William. Surviving Mrs. Smith are two chidren, Arthur T. and Josephine Essig; a sister, Nell Johnson of Wilmette; and ten grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was buried Dec. 27 in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Sunnyvale.
