Mr. Gilbert A. Wascher, 87, died Jan. 15 in Evanston.
Born Aug. 28, 1917, in Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Virginia B.
Survivors include sons William (Michael Sparks) of Key West, Fla., and James (Sally) of Northfield; two grandchildren; and his companion of 10 years, Geraldine Palmquist.
