- Misako Takahashi and Roger Grabowski, Jr. were married on Aug. 14 [2004] at St. Anne Church in Barrington. The bride is the daughter of Miharu and Sakae Takahashi of Yokohama, Japan. The bridegroom is the son of Mary Ann and Roger Grabowski of Winnetka. The bridesmaids were Saeko Takahashi of Yokohama, Sarah Grabowski of Chicago and Julia Grabowski of San Diego. The groomsmen were Paul Grabowski of Washington, D.C., Michael Walker of Boston and Bill Gibbons of Hong Kong. Following a celebration for family and friends in Yokohama, the newlyweds reside in Tokyo.
