- A slate of five candidates, the Kenilworth Community Party, emerged last week to oppose the Kenilworth Citizens Party, the candidates selected through a caucus system. Comments by Village manager, Max Slankard, on the rarity of such an event. Candidates in the Kenilworth Community Party include current Village Clerk, Tolbert Chisum, Michael Kelly, Edwin "Ned" Bosler, Todd Stephens and Ned Leuchtner. The caucus backed Kenilworth Citizens Party consists of Jackie Bossu, Christy Laier, Don DeLoach, P. Scott Wallace and Robert Hastings.
