- Edward J. Brennan, a longtime resident of Evanston and a former resident of Wilmette, died Feb. 14 at his home. He was 89. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan (nee Hickey) on Feb. 9, 1985; sons Dennis and Thomas; and daughter Peggy Baker. Survivors include son John (Jan) of Warren, N.J., daughters Pamela (Pat) Carroll of Glenview and Mary (Nick) Marovich of Lake Forest; and 10 grandchildren. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
