Notes
Kenilworth voters broke the division between two competing Village Board slates on Tuesday, selecting candidates from each to lead the town. Tolbert Chisum had a three-vote lead over rival Don DeLoach on Tuesday, too slim a margin to call the election with provisional ballots still to be counted. Returns were more decisive for the three open trustee seats. Winners were Katie Dold White from Chisum's Kenilworth Community Party. Caucus-backed candidates Cristy Laier and Jackie Bossu claimed seats for the Kenilworth Citizens Party. Vote tallies showd a third Citizens Party candidate, Scott Wallace, only two votes away from Bossu, leafing open the possibility of a swap if the official canvass tips the scales. For village clerk, Bob Hastings had a decisive victory.
