- Nicholas F. Beucher, 88, of Wilmette died May 8 in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
Mr. Beucher was born in Chicago on Dec. 9, 1916. He married Margaret Fortmann in 1940. Survivors include two sons, Bob (Linda) and Bud (Jayne) of Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.; Four daughters, Donna (Tom) Line of Tavares, Fla., Carol (Chuck) Kelsey and Michelle (Trey) Purser of Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., and Margaret "Peggy" (John) Clark of Windermere, Fla.; 16 grandchildren, Andrew Beucher, Austin and Eric Glass, Sharon and Scott Line, Megan, Erin and Kevin Kelsey, Merritt, Kamrin and Whitney Purser, Matt Clark, and Nicholas, Morgan, Joseph and Alexandra Beucher; and four great-grandchildren, Sophie, Luke and Margaret Kelsey and Preston Line.
He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Margaret; three brothers, Joe, George and Ed; and one sister, Marie.
