- William H. Noble, 85, of Hilltop Road, Long Grove, died March 27 in the Winchester House, Libertyville. Mr. Noble founded the Sheridan Shores Yacht Club in Wilmette in 1922 and served as its first commodore. Survivors include his wife, Helen; son William H. of Fort Wayne; daughter Nancy Murphy of Red Oak, Iowa; and two grandchildren. Burial was at Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago.
