- Mary (nee Canny) Higgins, 88, of Wilmette died Nov. 24 at Evanston Hospital.
Mrs. Higgins was born Dec. 22, 1916, in Burlington, Iowa.
Survivors include three daughters, Pam (Jim) McClamroch of Kenilworth, Nancy (Tom) Fowler of Oxford, Miss., and Sallie (Mark) Hogan of Birmingham Mich.; one son, Bob (Diann) Higgins of Wilmette; 12 grandchildren, James (Kristin) McClamroch, Todd (Cynthia) McClamroch, David (Allison) McClamroch, Michael, Casey (David) Kohl, Corey (Michael) Ussery, Ben, Cecilia and Will Hogan, and Bobby, Emily and Tyler Higgins; five great-grandchildren, Quinn, Kate and Campbell McClamroch, and Hannah and Paige Kohl; and one sister, Anne O'Brien.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Higgins; one sister, Margaret Kolkman; and three brothers, Robert, William and Thomas Canny.
Interment will be private at Bayside Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay.
