- Thomas Miller, 29, of 2905 Central St., Unit 2, Evanston, was arrested Tuesday morning by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents on charges of possessing child pornography. Miller is a mathematics teacher at Wilmette Junior High School and works as a part-time park district employee. The federal agency is working on a global investigation that focused on an Internet billing company based in Minsk, Belarus. According to the criminal complaint, agents said Miller purchased a membership in a Web site that provided child pornography.
