- William Dennis Murphy, 81, of Evanston and formerly Wilmette, died Jan. 2 at the Presbyterian Homes in Evanston.
Mr. Murphy was born in Chicago on Nov. 10, 1924.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Murphy; daughters Lisa (Jim) Randall and Meg (David) Willems; son Michael (Niki); step-sons, Duane (Barbara) Dickson, David (Peggy) Dickson and Edward (Donna) Dickson; stepdaughter Laura (David) Milius; 17 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Ann Hermann.
Services were held Jan. 6 at Kenilworth Union Church in Kenilworth.
