- Wilmette village trustees will handle several controversial zoning cases Tuesday night, including a plan to rebuild Ronald Knox Montessori School and a Sarbucks drive-through on the west side. The Knox plan won preliminary approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals Jan. 4. In a Jan. 18 meeting, the Zoning Board also voted to recommend approval of two separate Starbucks stores, one at 739 Green Bay Road and another at 3520 Lake Ave. Neighbors oppose the Lake Ave. location because of traffic concerns near Loyola and the Northfield Campus of New Trier.
