- Kathryn Anne Miller and James William Weedon were married on May 14 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Wilmette with the Rev. Lawrence Reuter of Loyola University presiding. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Karen Miller of Wilmette. The groom is the son of Gerald and Kathryn Weedon of Jacksonville, Fla. Nancy Miller, the bride's sister, was maid of honor and John Weedon, the groom's brother, was the best man. The bridesmaids were Jenny Miller, sister of the bride; Lauren Weedon, sister of the groom; and Kate Sherman. Junior bridesmaid was Kathryn Burds, goddaughter of the bride, and the flower girl was Madeline Burds. The groomsmen were John Griffis, Zachary Henderson and Steven Miller, the bride's brother. The ring bearer was Michael Burds. The vocal soloist was Sarah Minkus, cousin of the bride. The couple reside in Des Plaines.
