- June (née Hoene) Petersen, 96, of Wilmette died May 1 in her home.
Mrs. Petersen was born on June 3, 1909, in Marshfield, Wis., to Arthur C. and Vera Vollmar Hoene.
Survivors include three sons, Arthur E. (Diane) Jr. of Barrington, Robert of Boise, Idaho, and William (Gina) of Los Angeles, Calif.; three daughters, Anne (Lloyd) O'Hollearn of Evanston, Mary Kay (Richard) Bowman of Barrington and Elizabeth Petersen of Barrington; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and her caretaker, Lodi Arzadon.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Arthur E.
