- Dr. G. Walter Dittmar, 77, died Wednesday, May 18, at the Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Dittmar was a native of Jo Davies County. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Dooling Dittmar; his children, Mrs. Charlotte Roberson of Wilmette, Mrs. Katherine Allan and Dr. G. Walter Dittmar Jr. of Chicago and five grandchildren, Gale Roberson Jr., Charlie, Peter, and Ellen Kathleen Roberson of Wilmette, and James Allan of Chicago.
