- W. D. Gale was chosen May 24, as a director of Public Service Compnay of Northern Illinois to succeed T. Albert Potter who died last January. Since 1937 Gale has been vice-president in charge of finances of the company and of Commonwealth Edison Company. Other directors, all re-elected, are Britton I. Budd, James D. Cunningham, Albert B. Dick, Jr., Stanley Field, Charles Y. Freeman, Willian J. Kelly, Joseph H. King and John Wentworth
