- Kendra Jane Pfisterer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Pfisterer of Winnetka, was married Sept. 6, 1981 to Jonathan Given Grannis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Uri B. Grannis, Jr. of Lake Bluff, at Emmanuel Church in Richards Landing, Ont., Canada. Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Nancy Leon, of Bourg St. Maurice, France. The groom's brother, New York State Assemblyman, Alexander B. Grannis, was best man. Ushers were Uri B. Grannis III of Petosky, Mich., and Scott M. Pristerer of Winnetka. Marjory Given Grannis, the groom's niece, was flower girl.
