- Alice Ernestina Hall, 98, of Evanston, died Jan. 9 at St. Francis Extended Care Center in Evanston. She was born Oct. 25, 1908, in Belize City, Belize. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward S. Hall; sisters Patricia and Winnibell; and one niece. Survivors include daughters Alva, Greta, Erica, Brenda and Dorothy; sons Clifton and Liston; 26 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and one niece.
