- Ruth Cain Ruggles, 93, of Lost Tree Village, North Palm Beach, Fla., and formerly of Wilmette, died Jan. 7 at home. Mrs. Ruggles was born Sept. 12, 1913, to Rolly M. and Dercy Myers Cain. Survivors include her fiance, Richard L. Williams of Palm Beach; a son, Rudy L. Ruggles Jr. of Ridgefield, Conn.; six grandchildren, Leslie Rylee, Rudy L. Ruggles III, Christopher Ruggles, Whitney Savignano, Daniel Ruggles and Andrew Ruggles; and six great-grandchildren, Lindsey Ruggles, Thomas Ruggles, Michela Savignano, Preston Rylee, Costas Savignano and Ava Rylee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Rudy L. Ruggles II; and a daughter, Jean Ruggles Romoser.
