- Michele Beltrano,70, died Jan. 27 at Rush North Shore Medical Center in Skokie.
He was born in Rende, Cossenza, Calabria, Italy, to Angelo and Elena (nee Loizo) Beltrano, and came to the United States in 1956.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eda (nee Cicerale), on July 3, 2001.
Survivors include sons Angelo (Tracy) of Glenview, John (Michele) of Northbrook and Mike Jr. (Lorena); six grandchildren; sisters Stella and Lina, both of Italy; brother Raymond of Palm Springs, Calif., and other relatives.
