- Dr. Carl R. Hines Jr., 83, of Glenview died Jan. 15 in Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview.
He was born Sept. 19, 1923 in Wichita, Kan.
After 58 years of marriage, his wife died in August of 2004.
Survivors include three sons, Steve, Carl (Marsha), and David; a daughter, Susan; and three grandchildren, Steve Jr., Jackie and Zachary.
