Gloria Gebhart "Muffy" Miner died Jan. 28 in the Balmoral Care Center, Lake Forest. Mrs. Miner was born July 2, 1931 in Chicago, to Barton Ridgway Gebhart and Madeline Gebhart, nee Masters. She was a granddaughter of poet Edgar Lee Masters, author of "Spoon River Anthology." On Jan. 12, 1951 she married Herbert J. "Jack" Miner, also of Glencoe, in the Little Chapel of Winnetka Congregational Church. In addition to her spouse of 56 years, she is survived by her sister, Ann Ridgway Gebhart McDonald of Darien, Conn.; three children, Catherine Ann Miner (Thomas A. Catherwood) of Eugene, Ore., Nancy Miner (Robert) Guenther of Evanston and David Barton (Diane) Miner of Wilmette; and seven grandchildren.
